Lyme tests are known to result in both false-positives and false negatives and Columbia County has a very high rate of Lyme infected ticks. I told him that I'd had Lyme Disease three times before. Once I had a bulls-eye rash and the test came back negative. The dismissal of my valid symptoms and sending me home as sick as I was on a Friday night with a lab script for blood work seemed like poor judgement, service and understanding of this condition in my opinion.Telling me that I was "run-down" was insulting.

Unfortunately, my primary care physician, who takes Lyme very seriously, was not available. From a cost-benefit standpoint, the potential damage done from ignoring active Lyme far outweighs the damage done from administering unnecessary antibiotics. I have no confidence in results from this facility; a waste of my time and money. I had debated going in to Albany to the ER. Next time I know.

The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. The doctor took time to listen to me was very thorough.

Horrible! I had a tick bite in my ear, progressive, increasing, spreading local pain from my ear into my face, inflammation, headaches, flush in my face like scarlet fever, fatigue and other symptoms which had been steadily and consistently increasing over three weeks.. The physician assistant, Todd spent about 2 minutes with me, refused antibiotics and abruptly said, "I'm not going to give you two weeks of antibiotics with no fever or rash just because you are feeling run-down." (I did not say that I was run-down.) He gave me a script for blood work.

Usually in and out. I've never experienced long wait times. Staff is always friendly.

Overall I had a good experience at the Rapid Care. The receptionist was friendly and did her work well. The nurse and doctor were professional, and I was in and out of the place in less than an hour. The doctor seemed to know what he was talking about.
